Apprenticeships!

Apprenticeships are one of the most powerful experiences at Acton Academy, and begin the first year of Middle School.

Acton learners experience what it means to work hard in the real world, try out possible “callings” at a very low cost, and — perhaps most importantly — land an exciting next adventure. The apprenticeship process equips middle school and high school learners to find and secure apprenticeships with little to no assistance from adults. Step by step, young people learn to find and land just the right steppingstone job towards a calling — all on their own.
